The Author

Ashley was inspired to write Ride Rabbit Ride by her own child. As both a mother and a financial professional, she wanted to introduce her son to the worlds of money, business, and entrepreneurship in a way that felt exciting, approachable, and memorable.

Through a story filled with adventure, mistakes, perseverance, and second chances, Ashley hopes to make financial concepts fun, accessible, and empowering for the next generation.

Ashley Stockton brings more than 30 years of experience in finance, marketing, and investments. A native of Southern Virginia, she graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with concentrations in finance and marketing.

She began her career in New York City, working in equity research at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns and in investment banking at Merrill Lynch. After moving to Atlanta in 2004, she led J.P. Morgan’s Southeast Institutional Equity Sales business for nearly two decades. Today, she serves as Vice President of Investor Relations for Guardian Pharmacy Services, a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Ashley also serves on the board of the Georgia Securities Association, helping support financial-education programs across the state. For many years, she chaired her neighborhood’s annual children’s entrepreneurial fair, encouraging young entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into action.
